Most
Ghanaians remain among the world's poorest people,
earning an average of less than $4 per day. Despite a large percent of
Ghana's population lacking in basic needs, Ghanaians are renowned
worldwide for their friendliness and hospitality. Although Ghana has a
growing middle class, a tenth of the adult population is unemployed and
40 percent are illiterate. We work with several projects that try to
address these issues.
Our volunteer projects in Ghana are based in several locations throughout
Ghana.Our wide
range of projects and locations enable volunteers to combine projects to
see as much of this fascinating country and its people as possible.
Ghana is a safe country that is proud of their culture, history, and
tradition. This project will provide you with a great opportunity to

Volunteer Teaching English in Ghana
Teaching projects in Ghana help the
underprivileged children in low-income schools or orphanages. You
will be improving the quality of education that the children receive
by teaching them English.
Volunteer Teaching Computer Skills in Ghana
Volunteers will be teaching basic computer skills
to children of primary school age who have a great desire to learn
and develop computer knowledge.
Volunteer in the Orphanages of Ghana
Volunteers will be working in an orphanage,
helping with the educational and emotional development of the
orphans in Ghana. You will be a role model, teach English, and
assist staff members.
Volunteer Teaching Sports and Physical
Education in Ghana
While volunteering on this project you will
organize sports activities, games and competitions, to get the
children of Ghana actively engaged in physical activities.
Volunteer in Health Care and Medical Clinics
of Ghana
While working with health care in Ghana, you will
work alongside medical professionals in hospitals and clinics
throughout the country.
Volunteer in Animal and Wildlife Conservation

Volunteers on this project work to help preserve
